Uplift Singapore
At Uplift Singapore, we believe that goodness is innate within all individuals. Our society is dedicated to providing platforms and volunteering opportunities to nurture this innate goodness, thereby uplifting the wellbeing of our communities and society as a whole.
Vision
Our vision is to inspire individuals to embrace goodness in their daily lives and foster a wiser, happier, more peaceful, compassionate and harmonious society.
Mission
Our mission is to cultivate a culture of values-based education and holistic well-being for our future generation and their stakeholders. We aim to empower parents and educators with the tools, resources, and support needed to nurture the physical, mental, emotional, and social development of children. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we strive to create a nurturing environment that fosters empathy, resilience, and lifelong learning, ensuring a brighter future for all.
The role of education in our mission
Uplift recognizes the vital role that education plays in shaping individuals and society. Education is key to nurturing values which is central to out mission. Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) is the mode of values-based education in our Singapore schools. CCE is integral in the holistic development of our students because it considers the relationship and role of a successful tripod model (The Individual, The School, The School-Family-Community Partnership).
Tripod System
Uplift believes in the value of a successful tripod system, which involves the collaboration of the student, school teachers, and parents. This system recognizes that education is most effective when there is a strong partnership and understanding between these three pillars. By working together, we can create a supportive and enriching environment for learning and growth. Testimonials
Education Symposium on Improving Mental Health in 2022 featured a range of local and international guests speakers who generously shared their knowledge and insights. In 2023's run, I had the opportunity to connect with one of the speakers from the symposium in whom I found a mentor and friend :)

I had the opportunity to support the Hao Ren Hao Shi’s school programme. It was impressive to witness how the children were so enthusiastic to serve along with their peers and school leaders. Some of the students took on leadership roles in planning the execution of the provision packing.
This opportunity of service definitely drives home the importance of looking out for our society and allows the children to experience the process of planning and executing and most importantly the ultimate joy of giving.

Volunteering in Values formation classes have brought me much learning from the wonderful children who are so filled with love and innocence. Our sessions are based on reflections and games on value-based topics and inspirational life-stories. My weekends with these children are filled with joy. Being Good and Doing Good is our focus and I really feel both the children and us, volunteers help each other to be better Human Beings.
Come join us and experience the joy too!
